Canandaigua National Bank is an independent, community-owned financial institution serving the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes regions of Upstate New York, with an expanding presence in Central New York and a trust company in Florida.

Working with the team at Hale Design, I helped evolve the Canandaigua National Bank brand identity and digital experience. We developed a new logo and design system that builds on the bank’s heritage while creating a more modern, forward-looking expression.

We leaned into what makes Canandaigua National Bank unique, putting the name front and center with a clean, modern wordmark that feels friendly, approachable, and bold. Alongside it is an evolved monogram inspired by the iconic clocks found throughout the communities where the bank operates. The clock hands create a sense of movement and energy, reflecting the vitality of the people they serve, while subtly forming a “C” at the center of the mark, a quiet but intentional reference to the Canandaigua National Bank name.
